We did done a new song, called Pears. It was for composer Josh Welchel’s Songs for The Cure ‘09 album, a benefit for people who donated over a certain amount to his Relay for Life, for the American Cancer Society. It’s a great cause, so I would buy it if I were you (and I have already bought it - paradox!):

To buy it from Bandcamp, which is excellent, go here.

To buy it from iTunes, which is shit, but most people use it anyway, go here.

The vocals are sung by the excellent Moboid after we found out David couldn’t hit any of the notes; it sounded as if he was trying to smack a cow’s arse with an old banjo. It’s about Animal Crossing, essentially. Ages ago we had a chorus and some lyrics, and after about four years we went back to it. The rest is history!

What else have we been doing? Not much. David has been tossing off a load of excellent video game soundtracks, including the bizarre and amazing Super Cock Blockers. “But what about James?” I ask, because I am James. I spent a lot of time doing the soundtrack to an animated short called Poy. which is sort-of half-finished. James also has another EP in his dirty pipes, and a song on the aforementioned Songs for The Cure ‘09 album. The best song in everyone’s opinion. Go here for 5 of 6 news and views.

What does the future hold for Don’t Eat Sky? Let’s just say we can’t “Bjork” (wait) to start “Iceland” (working) with our new guest vocalist! See you!

Honest.

Hello, I am James, 90% of Don’t Eat Sky. I’ve updated this site a bit, by adding some links (yeah, you heard me right) and a few song pages. Go and download Susan, and then our remix of Saskia - The One, and then go here and wait patiently until our next song is realeased (it shouldn’t be too long - we’re just polishing it at the moment). Maybe you’d like to go to our Last.fm pages and see what crazy shit we like? Details to your left. Perhaps you want to follow some of our links? They’re on the left, too. There’s plenty (nothing) to do on this website, man!

I’ll see you when we’ve uploaded our EP.

Peace.
